Qajuqturvik Food Centre – Inclusion Café

The Inclusion café is a non-profit catering business which provides people facing barriers to employment food-skills training in the professional kitchen. In addition to its catering activities, IC operates out of the Qajuqturvik Food Centre located in Iqaluit, which offers a free daily meal to anyone who visits, averaging 80 unique visitors daily. The end goal is for participants to learn the necessary skills to find and sustain employment in the community or territory by targeting the many food service businesses prone to high rates or turnover and a dependency on talent from out of territory.
